Astrological Forecast from Dec 21, 2020 to Mar 21, 2021
By Aria Sparrowsong's Tarot and Stars
The Winter Solstice, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and the other holidays happening this time of year have a beautiful resonance--they all focus on bringing back the light and showing us how to connect with others. The Winter Solstice is the day of the First Quarter Moon in the sign of Aries -- perfect energy for get--togethers this particular week. Be willing to get rid of the conflicts and the ornery people, put all of that behind you in order to move forward with your tribe. Jupiter begins it's conjunction with Saturn on this day (more on this below). On Christmas Day Mercury is trine Uranus, so expect the unexpected--especially during conversations! A few days before the New Year, there is the Full Moon in Cancer, re-centering us from the crazy holidays to focus more on family, friends and loved ones.
We are all welcoming the New Year of 2021 and some positive ways forward after the challenging year of 2020. The first major aspect heading into the New Year are the planets of Jupiter and Saturn in the fixed air sign of Aquarius. Jupiter is the Great Benefactor and Saturn is the Restricter, so these energies can be at odds with each other at times. Saturn can also organize and prioritize and be more of a stickler when it comes to timing. Aquarius is the sign of the global consciousness, community and bringing people together. These two planets will be conjunct for a while, so expect changes with this whole vibe as we all move forward. These changes will be setting the trends for the next 30 years. So it is time to put differences aside, to join with the community and do what you are called to do for the good of all with no pretense.
Mars will be conjunct Uranus and squaring Jupiter and Saturn, creating some crazy making and sudden changes from January 20th through the 23rd, right around the time of the Inauguration of the next U.S. president. Hold on to your hats as Jupiter will make it not seem so bad! These changes will redirect us and show us what our priorities are. In the middle of February, Venus will conjunct Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter, making these harsh energies a little softer and work-arounds for individual control issues will be the way to solve problems. And these are the outer planets, so expect to see lots of changes with government institutions, economics and corporations on a global scale. February will end as Mercury enters Aquarius, high tech and communications will take a center role. Perhaps there will be great advancements, perhaps shutdowns or new ways of communicating in the high tech world. Be prepared! In March, Venus will conjunct Neptune so there will be a focus on love, dreams, illusions! Surround yourself with things of beauty, gardens, the Arts, music and spend time with loved ones.
Aries--keep calm, cool and collected. Inspire instead of agitate, leave conflict behind!
Taurus--surround yourself and loved ones with beauty, learn alternative ways to cook.
Gemini--think critically before you speak, make a mental check of what you are saying!
Cancer--work on making your home a safe space for family and friends to gather.
Leo--find the fun in simple things and pass your exuberance on to younger people.
Virgo--you might not be able to fix it. Time to move on to the next project, a lesson learned.
Libra--strive for balance and fairness in everything. Be the reality in the middle of a storm.
Scorpio--find ways to communicate effectively with others that are softer, warmer, less harsh.
Sagittarius--when you are restricted, travel with the mind. Learning meditation or yoga works!
Capricorn--be less concerned with organization and more concerned with helping others.
Aquarius--sudden changes may plague you. Learn to roll with them. Accept new things.
Pisces--be the dreamy, flowing energy that you are. Help those of other signs learn to relax.
