Full Moon in Cancer on 1/17/2022--Star-Weather and Ties You to Your Home, Loved Ones and Self Care

Home is the keyword for this beautiful Moon, a cold and icy one outside in many places in the Northern Hemisphere but with the emotional depths of Mother and Goddess, the hearth-fire, food, comfort and care to include self-care--the things that matter most. Key magickal work right now are topics centered around home, creature comforts, stability, security, loved ones, self-care and loving oneself and proper boundaries. Cancer, the Fourth House and the Moon reminds us of where we get comfort and who we get it from. 

The Moon will peak on January 17th, 2022 at 18:48 Hrs (6:48 PM EST). I ended up writing this several hours after the peak because I was in the middle of that self care. For auspicious times for your magickal workings, the energies exist at least 2 days before and 2 days after. It is important to know that after the peak, the Moon is in it's waning state, so keep that in mind for specific spells you plan on doing. One can always do a Full Moon working by calling in TIME as a direction--thereby syncing up the present timing to something more favorable. 

Lots of busy and important star-weather happening! We are getting ready for a Pluto Return--this outer planet will come back to meet it's same positioning on the US Chart that it was in during the US Revolutionary War. This transit is exciting because we don't know how it will manifest in our current time as this transit has not happened in over 225 years. Pluto will hit at 27 degrees of Capricorn on February 20th, 2022 but no doubt it is having some influence right now as it slowly moves into that position. Interesting, zeros and twos! Added altogether that becomes the sacred 1/Magician or the unknown destiny of the Wheel of Fortune/10. Which one of those do you think we will get--or will it be a blend of both?

Mercury Retrograde is happening right now and will go direct again on February 3rd, 2022. As of this writing it is in the sign of Aquarius but will backtrack into Capricorn around the 24th and communications will get even messier until the end of this transit. The 28th of January will be challenging as Mercury in Capricorn will hit transiting Pluto. Get ready for some transformative changes on a personal level. Mercury will resume it's forward motion on February 3, 2022.
